The Community Closet Board of Directors distributes profits to charitable activities in Park County. ($35,000 in 2007)
Store merchandise is also given to schools and other non-profits at no cost. Vouchers are given to those who cannot afford needed purchases. ($3,000 in 2007)

Examples of such funding may include, but is not necessarily limited to:
- Recreation scholarships/equipment
- Community functions
- Educational programs
- Youth programs
- Assistance in response to catastrophic events or illnesses
- Support of existing non-profit organizations/special programs
